What is HeartMath?

Merritt Wellness Method’s triangle concept of structural, chemical, and emotional approach allows the body to achieve optimum health. To attain superior health, it needs constant attention practicing responsibility, mindfulness, and love. Balancing and acknowledging this triangle as a checklist format will provide a complete longevity plan.

Our body has an intelligence that promotes our spiritual and physical well-being. Every organ in our body has an associated emotion. Some examples are the liver and gallbladder associates with anger and resentment, the kidney and bladder can connect with fear, and the heart associates with love.

A unique feature about our heart, is the heartbeat rhythm affects how we think and feel. Learning to shift your uneasy heart rhythm to a controlled heart rhythm takes practice. Once taught, this mindful skill increases your emotional composure, regulates blood pressure, and allows clearer thinking.

At Merritt Wellness Method, we help the connection of the heart and the emotions, with a trademark program called HeartMath. As certified HeartMath practitioners, we teach this tool to regulate your heart rate throughout the day by specific breathing, meditating, and cognitive awareness. It is a biofeedback format that occurs in steps to help everyday functions be of less stress and of more peaceful thinking.

Being more in tune with your body allows intuition to grow. The heart is the greatest organ of the body. The heart is a muscle that pumps our blood, but it also emits electricity in a three-foot circumference. It creates a frequency that projects emotions. We can all agree that when we meet someone, we can immediately feel an intuitive vibration from them and get a “vibe” if we like them or not.
